For Mac and Windows:

• Built with Mac users’ in mind while still retaining compatibility with Windows, the V4 comes with a system toggle and keycaps for both Mac and Windows systems.
• You can even configure different keymaps for both systems on VIA software. The polling rate is 1000 Hz out of the box, which makes latency non-existent for the competitive game.

Hot-swappable Support:

• With the pre-lubed mechanical linear red switch provides unrivaled tactile responsiveness with up to 50 million keystroke lifespan.
• You can also hot-swap the V4 with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering required.
• The PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizer for “big keys” such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete are designed for less wobbliness and smooth performance.

Double-shot PBT Keycaps:

• The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed.
• The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.

Keychron V4 QMK/VIA Custom Mechanical Keyboard

The Keychron V4 is a fully customizable mechanical keyboard with QMK/VIA support. Anyone can intuitively master any keyboard keys or macro commands through the VIA software. The V4 is designed to be able to assemble easily, so you can customize the hardware and software with endless possibilities.

Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V4 comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard.

Hot-Swappable

The hot-swappable sockets supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.), so you can customize your favorite switches without soldering. The pre-lubed Keychron K Pro mechanical switches pre-installed on the V4 come with an optimized mold with more precise positioning, and less wobbliness will certainly improve your fingertip feel. The Keychron switch is durable enough with unrivaled tactile responsiveness on the linear red switch and up to 50 million keystroke lifespan.

Program Each Key and Macro with QMK/VIA

Simply connect the V4 to your device with a cable, import the V4 keymap JSON file into the VIA software, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on macOS, Windows, or Linux operating systems, e.g.: create a macro command of a screenshot on macOS. A brand new ultra-low-power Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU which is powerful, and armed with 128K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers.

All New Screw-In PCB Stabilizers The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier for changes and upgrades. Precise craftsmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less wobbly. The big keys’ typing experience is now more stable and smooth. The Keychron V4 also supports third-party stabilizers including Cherry or Durock.	Wired Connectivity A reliable USB Type-C wired connection with 1000 Hz polling rate and NKRO make sure you won't miss a beat no matter cranking out emails or code. Note: Please avoid connecting the V4 with a laptop through a hub to ensure enough power supply. For the same reason, please turn off the keyboard backlight if the V4 is connecting with a tablet.	PBT Keycaps & South-facing RGB The V4 comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical-angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable and subtle fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use. The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle and free from interference when the user installs Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the V4.
